Civil Engineering
The GATE CE paper tests civil engineering. Each lesson covers one part of the syllabus: the detailed list of topics, the key concepts and formulas, a worked example, and GATE-style questions whose numerical answers are recomputed by a program. Engineering Mathematics and General Aptitude, common to all papers, have their own tracks.
1Overview
2Structural Engineering
- Engineering Mechanics and Solid MechanicsGATE CE syllabus for engineering mechanics and solid mechanics, with the key formulas for equilibrium, SFD and BMD, stress and strain, elastic constants, Mohr's circle, bending, torsion and deflection, and solved examples.
